Avra Xepapadakou
Avra Xepapadakou is a faculty member at the Department of Philology, Division of Theatre and Music Studies, University of Crete, where she teaches History of Theatre and Opera. Her research interest focuses on nineteenth century theatre, music and cultural life. She has published articles and papers concerning subjects such as The Municipal Theatre of Athens, the world famous Greek-Romanian soprano Hariclea Darclée, the Landis-Karagiannis opera troupe and the “Lassalle and Charlet” French theatre company. The subject of her recent book is the Ionian opera composer Pavlos (Paolo) Carrer. | |
